Hi! I’m April. I am a Health & Wellbeing Coach located in Colorado. I began my journey as a health coach after facing my own struggles with chronic pain and illness. My health issues motivated me to educate myself on nutrition, supplements, self care, and healthy lifestyle habits. After experiencing remarkable improvements in my health as a result of making consistent, simple changes, I decided to deepen my learning and become a health coach so that I could help others who face similar challenges.
I hold a Nutrition Coach certification and a Master Health Coach certification with Precision Nutrition, an NBHWC accredited coaching program. I am also trained in Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT/Tapping), as well as Pain Reprocessing Therapy, which is a mind-body approach to reducing chronic symptoms. I bring an eclectic approach that is individualized to each of my client's needs.
What you can expect from me as your coach is a genuinely caring, non-judgmental, curious, and active listener. I understand and empathize with how lonely, overwhelming, and frustrating it can be to navigate chronic conditions, and the toll it can take on our mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing. What you can expect from our work together is that it doesn’t have to feel like “work”. It can be fun and playful as we explore and discover the strengths that you already have and maybe just forgot about. We’ll play with goals, skills, routines, and tools, to find what feels best and is most effective for you.
My goal in our sessions is to walk this journey with you. To help you to feel supported and empowered to make gentle sustainable changes that will provide you with deep health - true wellbeing in every aspect of your life.
When I’m not busy enjoying time with my clients, you can find me hanging out with my partner and our cat, Feisty Pants. I also love cooking, taking long walks, dancing like a goofball, and meeting up with a good friend for coffee.

Hi, my name is Ruth Carpio and I am Wellness Coach specializing in holistic and alternative health. I am a certified 200 hour yoga teacher with additional certifications in kids yoga and Ayurvedic nutrition. I am also a holistic speech language pathologist who has worked with both children and adults, combining traditional therapy approaches with methodologies from the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda, yoga and meditation.
I am passionate about helping teens and young adults achieve their wellness and lifestyle goals by gaining insight into their greater purpose and seeking greater alignment between thoughts, emotions and behaviors. Many of my clients have struggled with the health impacts of chronic stress, diet, toxicity and emotional blockages from traumatic experiences. Through a focus on the alignment of body, mind and spirit, we can work toward making sense of why we have experienced the life that we have and how we can take back our power to create a healthful life.
My journey as a wellness coach began after facing my own challenges with chronic asthma and social anxiety. I felt that I was doing all I could to be healthy on the physical level, such as eating a wholesome diet and exercising; yet my symptoms were not improving. I finally noticed improvements in my health when I delved into yoga and meditation. At this point I realized the importance of not only nourishing the physical body, but the emotional, spiritual and mental bodies as well.
During coaching sessions with me, we will discuss topics impacting your health and wellness such as diet, toxicity, lifestyle meditation, energetic anatomy, and much more. No topic is too big or too small. You will learn about mindfulness and meditation practices to enhance well-being. We will work towards understanding and nurturing the energetic underpinnings behind the body-mind-spirit complex; the foundations of our thoughts, feelings and actions.
When I am not with my clients you can find me gardening, tending to my chickens or going on a nature walk with my family. I believe that health isn’t just about your physical wellbeing, but also about how connected you are to that which is bigger than you.
